Well, despite numerous glitches, tedious load times and texture pop-in issues, Kingdom Come: Deliverance was absolutely fantastic. I still have to play the Sir Hans & Woman's Lot DLC add-ons, but I loved the base game. Definitely recommend!
This may seem like a weird thing to ask, but has anyone ever tried using Brotherhood of Shadow with the Carth's Republic Uniform mod? I keep getting a weird bug where I get put on the Orion, the movie cutscene plays, and then it plays opening text crawl from the game. Only with that specific mod, everything else works fine.
I do agree moving clouds would look better, but if it's not possible, then sheet lightning would definitely be a welcome addition! Love that it accents Telos feeling unstable, newly healed, reborn, etc, etc.
Since this mod only utilizes one file, "a_pc_jedi.ncs" it would be worth checking if TSLRCM has edited that file.
The easiest way to check is to install tslrcm and search your override folder for "a_pc_jedi.ncs" if there is, then it would be incompatible.
I don't know of any changes made by TSLRCM that changes the prestige class script, but I can't say for certain.
if you take a look at the pictures above the pink variant, they are already done in the beige-blue-gold color scheme; the pink pillars are optional - as a reminder of the original. I tried different variants for those, and while dark beige fits the scene better, its probably not enough to create a contrast to those dominant pastell colors.
However, since i'll make the sky in pastell red/blue as well, the question remains, what would be the best color for the pillars to setup this contrast and also fit to those blue roofs?
You are absolutely right, even though they open some HEX info when opened with Kotor Script Editor (and when opening it says "Decompiling...", when opening them in Notepad i get the source script in clear text!
Must have been something with my version of Kotor Tool, i have no idea...
You have my gratitude for letting me know of this, i couldn't wrap my head around what was going wrong!
I recompiled them, as instructed by the Tutorial: "In order to compile that script and produce the NCS file the game can use, you must extract the include files k_inc_generic.nss, k_inc_gensupport.nss, k_inc_walkways.nss and k_inc_drop.nss. You can find these files with KotorTool in Kotor II --> BIFs --> scripts.bif --> Script, Source. Extract them and save them in the same folder where you have the nwnnsscomp.exe script compiler. (If you are using the script editor in the latest version of KotorTool you shouldn't need to extract the include files manually; it will find them automatically when needed.)"
I extracted the necessary .nss files in my Kotor Script Editor folder, then compiled my 2 scripts. The attached files resulted:
They now open as encrypted info in Notepad, so i guess it worked this time...
